ISASS Conducts Member Surveys for Review of New and Established CPT Codes

Dear Fellow Surgeon,

The American Medical Association RVS Update Committee (RUC) has requested review of physician work for Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes 63020, 63030, and 63035 for laminotomy as well as physician work for lumbar total disc arthroplasty (TDA) single level (CPT code 22857) and a new category I code for lumbar TDA each additional level (CPT code 2285X).

We request your participation in one or both surveys. Each survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. We hope that you will take the time to help your society, in concert with the RUC, recommend accurate relative values to CMS for physician work related to these new CPT codes.
