Marek Szpalski, MD, Belgium

Marek Szpalski, MD is Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery at IRIS South Teaching Hospitals in Brussels, Belgium, he is also an Associate Professor of Orthopedics at the Free University of Brussels and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Orthopedics at New York University.

He is an active members of several scientific societies including the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS Board Member), the Eurospine Spine Society of Europe and the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine (ISSLS) of which he is past President. He is a Deputy Editor of the European Spine Journal and serves on the Editorial Board of several other scientific journals.
